Role: Senior Specialist-Learning & Development

Job Purpose:

Define, design, and implement learning solutions that align with business goals.

Drive learning transfer and adoption of knowledge and skills that enable performance and evaluate results for continuous improvement.

Job Description:

The key responsibilities for this role involve understanding the business strategy, designing flexible learning programs, fostering a culture of continuous development, and monitoring learning transfer effectiveness. It is important to exhibit behaviors such as adaptability, empathy, collaboration, innovation, decision-making, project management, clear communication, and a customer-first mindset.

Accountabilities:

  • Understand requirements:
    • Works directly with the business stakeholders as an SME to provide consulting and build understanding of organisational learnings needs.
  • Define Overall Plan:
  • Works with manager to define overall strategy and plan for portfolio to ensure impact.
  • Define and execute frameworks, processes, and guiding principles to facilitate the delivery of portfolio.
  • Design the complete learning experience:
  • Works with designers and community lead to design engaging learning solutions, related to portfolio to enable effective embedding and ongoing application.
  • Ensure the usage of various content development methods and tools for maximum impact and effective solution delivery. 
  • Provide structure, support, and accountability for using new skills and knowledge to drive learning transfer.
  • Ensure performance support assets such as job aids, coaching, apps, and other support are included as part of design.
  • Facilitate programs:
  • Facilitate learning programs assigned for effective delivery focused on CL D and below.
  • Evaluate and document results for continuous improvement:
  • Work with Process Specialist to ensure clear measures and reporting mechanisms are in place to achieve results and continuously improve.
  • Ensure actions are taken to address feedback in a timely manner.
  • Manage suppliers within portfolio:
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal delivery of solutions and SLAs are met.
  • Ensure periodic review with vendor to ensure targets are met and for continuous improvement.

Languages: English, but Arabic for KSA hiring & Nationalized territories
