Role Profile: This role will manage a large team of GRD/Licensing/Admin specialists, each with either a divisional or geographical responsibility. Accountable for all Government related liaisons, ensuring full compliance of their AOR with relevant Markets’ requirements. Working closely with Property, Procurement, Audit and Finance to deliver the best standard of services to internal customers. 

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to: Develop internal and external relationship to benefit the business. Manage and lead the GRD and licensing team to ensure full compliance while maximizing benefit to the company. Develop processes and practices to suit local country practices while ensuring consistency with Alshaya ways of working and values. Accountable for ensuring our legal status is always met with relevant ministries Develop user friendly HR processes and workflows and work with IT to implement systems to enable them.

Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of local labor laws

Experience: At least 10 years in a senior leadership role (ideally in a multi-business, cross border environment).

Experience operating within a multi-layered matrix structure Culturally adaptable

Skills: Very strong leadership skills, pragmatic, decisive and a charismatic leader Ability to work in a high pressure and fast-paced environment Ability to network internally and externally Innovative and creative in finding solutions to complex work-related matters
