The Role:
Working within the HR Department you will undertake all activities relating to payroll processing.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling payroll responsibilities on a day-to-day basis, ensuring compliance with company policies and country-specific labor laws
- Ensure that monthly deductions are actioned and appropriate payments are made
- Confirm accuracy and validate before the Payroll Manager’s approval
- Collecting, processing, and communicating relevant data in a timely manner, prioritizing where necessary.
- Creating and maintaining accurate files and reports.
- Developing internal and external relationships to benefit the business.
- Reviewing and making recommendations for change in processes.
- Ensuring department complies with company, local market and legal policies, procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous payroll experience desired.
- Oracle Payroll System
- Labour Laws - well versed in UAE labor law
- Basic Accounting
- Fast Formulae
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel & Word)
- English language skills (Arabic language skills advantageous).
- Familiarity with Oracle database.
