The Role:

The Compensation and Benefits Analyst is responsible for the planning, analysis, modelling and reporting of assigned C&B projects. You will be accountable for project delivery, supervising a small team and monitoring performance against agreed plans and timelines; you will provide direction and corrective action as required to optimize project delivery.

  • Own, plan and deliver defined projects within the Compensation and Benefits Team.
  • Model historic and current financial data, drawing conclusions and recommendations on compensation topics, assisting and enabling the department to optimize business performance.
  • Provide education, guidance and trouble shooting assistance to the HR users of the compensation and benefits technology (Cognos)
  • Ensure timely and accurate production of standard and customized HR reports for the Business.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree educated ideally in an HR, finance or technology related subject
  • Experience working within a compensation and benefits department, analyzing numeric data and providing robust output for the business.
  • Strong technology skills, expert user of MS Excel is a minimum requirement, additionally SQL and VB skills would be an advantage.
  • Highly numerate, excellent attention to detail and strong data analysis skills
  • Experience of project related work, ideally in a team leader capacity
