Role Purpose:
The Lead Officer – People Experience is responsible for delivering a seamless employee experience across the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor law, and supporting strategic initiatives in engagement, onboarding, ER, and deployment. This role acts as a key liaison between store teams, regional leadership, and head office functions to embed the Employee Value Proposition and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Engagement & EVP

Support implementation of the Employee Value Proposition (Discover) through store visits, focus groups, and communication campaigns.
Coordinate engagement activities such as town halls, recognition programs, and surveys; analyze feedback and recommend improvements.

2. Resourcing & Onboarding

Manage internal mobility and external hiring processes for Egypt, ensuring timely delivery of recruitment SLAs.
Oversee onboarding programs, including Welcome to Alshaya sessions, structured schedules, and feedback collection.
Track onboarding metrics and continuously improve integration experience.

3. Employee Relations & Compliance

Handle ER cases (warnings, hearings, deductions) in line with company policy and Egyptian labor law.
Ensure accurate documentation for investigations and disciplinary actions.
Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and knowledge transfer.

4. Deployment & Capability Building

Deliver training programs (e.g., Welcome to Alshaya, Grow With Us) and track attendance for Egypt.
Partner with Senior Manager to identify development needs and support team capability building.

5. Operational Excellence

Maintain accurate records and dashboards for recruitment, onboarding, ER cases, and engagement metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for projects like offshoring and digital transformation.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and labor law compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office tools.
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition is a must
