Role Profile: 

As the Marketing Manager for Kuwait, you will be the creative engine behind all brand and marketing initiatives in Kuwait. This role demands a strong, culturally intuitive marketer who can execute campaigns from inception through to execution — blending global brand direction with hyper-local market relevance. You will shape the voice and presence of Starbucks in Kuwait by developing and delivering fully localized activations that resonate deeply with our customers, rooted in genuine consumer understanding and cultural insight. 
From seasonal activations and brand equity-building moments to product launches and in-store experiences, you will own the full 360° campaign process aliging with the Starbucks regional MENA team. This includes leading insight gathering, creative briefing, content development and flawless cross-functional execution. You’ll work closely with our internal creative, digital & media teams, as well as agency partners, to ensure campaigns are not only on-brand and high impact, but also authentically Kuwaiti in look, feel, and relevance. 
This is a high-impact role requiring a bold marketer who’s not afraid to challenge the status quo, push for local nuance, and bring big ideas to life — all while managing complex timelines and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and execute all brand campaigns in Kuwait market, aligned with regional marketing priorities
    Lead consumer-facing and employee activations that resonate deeply with local cultural moments
    Develop and execute local influencer strategies that reflect the pulse of Gen Z in Kuwait
  • Be up to date on the trading and marketing calendar led in Kuwait by government and retailer, ensuring we participate in the key events and moments
  • Know how to manage local supplier, and running an instore or on ground event from Ideations to implementation
  • Deliver sharp and culturally relevant creative briefs
  • Provide local consumer and competitive insights to inform campaign planning and decision-making
    Own KPI setting and tracking for local initiatives, focused on measurable brand and business impact
    Work across multiple digital and social channels with an understanding of Gen Z preferences and behaviors
    Partner with internal cross-functional teams and external agencies to bring initiatives to life 

 

EXPERIENCE: 

  • 4+ years of marketing experience in a reputable multinational or leading local brand 
  • Prior experience leading brand campaigns and activations in Kuwait. 
  • Deep understanding of social-first storytelling and channel-specific content for TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute omni-channel campaigns that connect with consumers.
